Reviews
‘His music is beautiful, tuneful, and dramatic. Listening to various anthems, you can hear a very strong church music influence. He is not afraid of using unison phrases to
emphasise the text. Track four is particularly great. Jubilate Deo’ he writes it with a great triumph and pomp, which befits the words: ‘O be joyful in the Lord’ The choir are excellent as one would expect from a Cambridge College choir The youthful voices really make for a clean crisp sound, with barely any inter-note vibrato on this CD;
which deserves great thanks!’ Hifi April 2014
‘a committed, spacious, and dramatic performance…I warmly recommend this disc to lovers of English music.’ Organists’ Review September 2014
