‘Both performance and engineering values in this release are consistently and utterly top drawer. The recording acoustic captures the resonant cathedral atmosphere with no loss of clarity; and balances between performing forces are uniformly convincing—a particular challenge with the added brass of the Jongen Mass. Vocally, one cannot help singling out the ethereal trebles in the Franck Panis angelcus, and the beautifully blending solo quartet in the Jongen Benedictus; but the work of the full mixed ensemble is not one whit less distinguished.’ Fanfare March 2017
